Through this research work funded by the Consulate General of India Sydney, we analysed the historical background of immigration from India to Australia and key socio-economic impacts of Indian migration to Australia. This first of its kind research also present comprehensive statistical picture detailing key population characteristics of India-born people living in Australia.
